Nile Rodgers & Chic to headline Newmarket Nights and Haydock Park Nights next year

The legendary Nile Rodgers & Chic are set to return to Newmarket Nights and Haydock Park Nights, for headline sets filled with some of the best-known pop anthems from the past five decades.

Among music legends, he is truly exceptional, amplifying his legacy as a multiple GRAMMY-winning composer, producer, arranger and guitarist by constantly traversing new musical terrain and successfully expanding the boundaries of popular music. As the co-founder of Chic, Rodgers pioneered a musical language that generated chart-topping hits like ‘Le Freak’ and sparked the advent of Hip-Hop with ‘Good Times’.

In addition to his claim to fame as a true hit maker, he is also the Founder & Chair of the ‘We Are Family Foundation’, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the vision of a global family by creating and supporting programs that promote cultural diversity while nurturing and mentoring the vision, talents, and ideas of young people who are positively changing the world. Fuelling four decades of pop anthems with more than 200 production credits to his name, the scope of Nile Rodgers' peerless influence is undeniable.

He will be at Newmarket Nights on Friday 30th July 2027, before then going on to Haydock Park Nights on Friday 6th August.
