The Brent Reggae Album Covers Exhibition making its mark during this African History Season

Exploring the Reggae Album Covers Shot in the north-west London borough of Brent in marking African History Season

You are welcome to join us for the unveiling of a colour plaque by The Reggae Tree opposite Hawkeye record store at 2 Craven Park Rd, NW10 4AB just before the in-library session, from 5.00-5.45pm (they are interested in finding the original plaque, so as to be donated to Brent Museum). Produced by BritishBlackMusic.com/Black Music Congress (BBM/BMC) in association with BTWSC/African Histories Revisited and Brent Museum And Archives, the Brent Reggae Album Covers Exhibition is taking place until October 31 2026 during Harlesden Library opening hours.
You will join historical musicologist and exhibition curator Kwaku, on Saturday October 31, for a fun, interactive edutainment session to mark African History Season (in-library and via Zoom). Marking African History Season!

In memory of Cleveland 'Popsy' Deer, covering the topic of 'It Was Also About Other Black Musics', you are encouraged to take the family and any vinyl record with a Brent connection to be played and to talk about. No booking is required - just turn up, or book if you want to be updated of any changes, or for Zoom code, see separate booking page.
