Škoda fuels the great British road trip with free holiday getaway for every Kodiaq buyer
Milton Keynes – Škoda has announced a limited time offer in collaboration with Forest Holidays, to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Kodiaq.
With every Kodiaq SUV ordered between 8 -17 May 2026, Škoda UK and Forest Holidays will offer customers a free holiday of their choice. A decade on from the launch of the flagship SUV, Škoda and Forest Holidays have teamed up to offer every customer who buys a Kodiaq a free three-day weekend, or four-day weekday holiday at selected sites across the UK*. Forest Holidays will be providing Kodiaq customers a stay in a Silver Birch Lodge** at any of the 10 locations, worth up to £1,100***.
Alongside the offer with Forest Holidays, Škoda will be providing a £750 test drive promotion for customers looking to purchase a Kodiaq, with the amount taken off any deposit put down between the 1 May and 30 June 2026. The offer comes as Škoda reveals 55% of drivers said they would be going on a UK trip in 2026, while more than two thirds of motorists (69%) said they had positive memories of the childhood car they travelled in for road trips. More than half (59%) could recall happy memories with their family, highlighting the UK weather (50%), playing games with family (44%), and long walks (38%) as the most significant recollections.
A third (31%) of drivers said they had a specific music memory, that reminded them of road trips. Among the artists mentioned were The Beatles, Michael Jackson, ABBA, and Westlife, with Cliff Richard’s ‘Summer Holiday’, unsurprisingly, listed among the most cited nostalgic road trip songs. While weather and music carried memories for many drivers, Wales (31%) topped the list of the most recalled holiday destinations, followed closely by Cornwall (29%), Devon (28%), the Lake District (25%), and Yorkshire (21%).
For 2026, the top destinations remained the same with Wales (21%) the leading trip of choice, followed by the Lake District (18%), Yorkshire (16%), Cornwall (16%), and Devon (15%). Drivers also revealed the most important features of a car when going on a road trip with comfortable seats being the top choice, followed by a large boot and good quality speakers. Wireless charging and Cruise Control also featuring highly on the list of items – both features which can be found as standard on all Kodiaq trims.
With the offer from Škoda and Forest Holidays, families will be able to adventure across the UK in their brand new Kodiaq, where they will be able to enjoy a true family SUV, with up-to seven seats, and all of the Simply Clever features which make long drives a breeze.
