There’s still time to join a series of ‘Winter Warmth and Wellness’ sessions taking place at Wolverhampton Libraries – designed to bring together communities during the colder months.
Hot drinks and mindfulness activities will be available during the free events, including board games, crafts and puzzles. A series of events took place last month, with seven more to come.
They are as follows:
- Wednesfield Library, Thursday 8 January, 10.30am-11.30am
- Bob Jones Community Hub, Monday 12 January, 10am-11am
- Finchfield Library, Tuesday 13 January, 10.30am-12.30pm
- Penn Library, Thursday 15 January, 10.30am-12.30pm
- Bilston Library, Tuesday 20 January, 10.30am-12.30pm
- Whitmore Reans Library, Friday 23 January, 3-4pm
- Central Library, Tuesday 27 January, 10.30am-12.30pm.
For more details of each event, you can contact the respective library. Councillor Obaida Ahmed, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Community, said: “We look forward to welcoming everyone to our Winter Warmth and Wellness sessions, giving people a chance to come together, enjoy a hot drink, and take part in activities that will support their wellbeing."
It's free to join Wolverhampton's libraries – you can find out more on the City of Wolverhampton website.
