St. Kitts and Nevis is expanding its annual Restaurant Week into a month-long celebration to mark the 10th anniversary.

St. Kitts and Nevis Culinary Month will run throughout July 2026, with both islands hosting fixed-price menus, tasting showcases, charity dinners and twilight galas. The annual event celebrates the kitchens, cooks, and culture of St. Kitts and Nevis, and offers visitors the chance to experience a local culinary scene built on rich, homegrown ingredients, age-old traditions and creative techniques.

Each year, participating restaurants create menus based around a single local ingredient at fixed special prices. For Culinary Month 2026, two ingredients have been selected: Carrot and Passionfruit.

Hon. Marsha T. Henderson, Minister of Tourism, St. Kitts, reflected on the significance of this milestone: "Ten years ago, we made a promise to share our culinary scene with the wider community.

“That we would recognise our kitchens as cultural institutions and our cooks as artists. St. Kitts and Nevis Culinary Month is the fulfilment of that promise. We are inviting the world to understand who we are through what we have always put on our plates.

“This is identity served warm, with seconds always available." A range of fixed-price menus will be available at the islands’ participating venues:

  • Premium Dinner - US$60: Upscale three-course experience at St. Kitts and Nevis’ finest restaurants.
  • Classic Dinner - US$40: Elegant three-course dining at exceptional value.
  • Casual Special - US$20: Relaxed lunch and dinner options for every appetite.
  • Desserts, speciality cocktails and sweet surprises: Available at venues across both islands throughout the month.

In addition to the special menus available throughout the month of July, a schedule of culinary-themed events will take place:

During the month visitors will have the opportunity to sample some of the islands’ traditional dishes, including:

  • Goat water: a slow-simmered stew so central to Kittitian and Nevisian identity it could be listed on the passport, served with dumplings.
  • Conkies: parcels of cornmeal, coconut, pumpkin and spice steamed in banana leaves — holiday food, year-round flavour.
  • Johnny cakes and saltfish: crisp-edged fried dough paired with saltfish stewed down with tomatoes, onions and peppers — the breakfast that powers Saturday mornings.
  • Black pudding: rich, spiced and unapologetic, the kind of dish that converts the curious.
  • Sugar cake: coconut and sugar set into bites that stick to the teeth and the memory, sold by vendors working from family recipes.
